check_convergence

check_convergence(idata, until=True, *, var_names=None)

Assess any InferenceData against a convergence target.

Works on local or remote results. Returns the same report a remote until= run stores on its result: met, a one-line summary, failing checks, the likely cause with a hint, and projected_draws (draws per chain at which the target would be met if the problem is just slow mixing).
